Pinch a 7 Inch

As part of my winter drawing intensity, an image I made of the Neah Bay (circa late 1800’s) made it onto a 7 inch for Adrian Orange & Her Band. Get it here.

Fellow radical Stefan Gruber made it on the cover as well! What a good night that was; Lunar New Year. I was sitting in a rocking chair in the back laughing my face off. After the show we all ran up to the Buddhist temple and watched a large string of firecrackers blaze off. I got some in my eye!

P.S. I’m playing bass for Lyllyy’s Ydryyn Yryngy next Thursday at What the Heck Fest in Anacortes!

Urban Edibles Hits the Big Time

Local Portland news station KGW did a story on our project Urban Edibles this week. You can read the written story or catch the news tonight (May 10) at 6pm on Channel 8! I hear it’s a very cool story according to the news guy I talked too…but I’m a little embarrassed for only being quoted as saying that my whole mouth went numb one time eating rosemary. Someone’s gotta be the critter though right?
